The nature of any proposed treatment will be discussed in detail including the procedure, recovery time and anticipated result. Photographs may be taken to assist the discussion as well as to compliment your clinical record. Written information is available about individual operations and you will receive written information and advice relating to the anaesthetic. Photographs of typical results will be available for you to view. A friend or relative is welcome to accompany you should you wish. You may want to take time to consider your decision before proceeding with surgery and returning for a second consultation is often helpful. Mr Waterhouse employs a practice nurse who is highly experienced in all aspects of the care of plastic and cosmetic surgery patients. She will be closely involved with your aftercare and you will also meet her beforehand when considering surgery. Minor procedures under local anaesthesia are performed in the operating theatre at 55 Harley Street. It may be appropriate to treat some small procedures on a "See-and-treat" basis. This means both the initial consultation and operation during the same visit. More major surgery and any procedure is carried out in the Plastic Surgery Unit at the Wellington Hospital, London NW8. Paediatric surgery is undertaken at the Cromwell Hospital, which has special facilities for the treatment of babies and children. 020 7636 4073 55 Harley Street London, W1G 8QR United Kingdom Other Categories: Esthetic Services |
